Thalia founded RetroDenverFinds in 2021 when her dog Knives, was diagnosed with heart failure and required a cardiology visit for treatment & further diagnosis.
Unable to pay for Knives’s vet bill as she was living paycheck to paycheck at the time; Thalia sold everything she owned to afford the cardiologist visit. When she had sold all her belongings and still came up short, she refined her skill to refinish furniture she found for free and sell it for proceeds to benefit her dog’s cardiology bill.
As of 2023, Thalia has committed to creating accessible educational resources and services based in Denver, Colorado; focusing on accessible home, furniture restoration & business tips.
Thalia now offers a wide range of furniture restoration services, along with available furniture & decor items to purchase in our FURNITURE web page.
Having also recovered from a spinal injury that RETRODENVERFINDS furniture sales were able to save her life, Knives now serves as Chief Communications Puppy Officer and lives happily greeting all new clients and friends that they meet along the way.
